Delete your data

You can ask us to delete your BudgetCalendar account and the workspace data stored with it. This page is the request process.

Last updated: October 26, 2026

1. How to ask

  1. Cancel the subscription in the app billing portal so a renewal is not charged later.
  2. Email support@thedevnomad.com from the email address on the account.
  3. Use the subject “Delete my BudgetCalendar data” and say you want the account deleted.

We use that email to confirm the request is yours. If you no longer have access to it, say so and we will use another reasonable check before deleting anything.

2. What we delete

After we confirm the request, we delete or irreversibly anonymize:

  • Your user profile in BudgetCalendar.
  • Budgets, accounts, transactions, cards, recurrence rules, and related rows saved for that account.
  • The subscription cache we store for that account, once it is no longer needed to honor a refund or dispute.

Removing a single bill inside the app hides that entry. It does not delete the account. Account deletion is this request.

3. What can remain

  • Paddle keeps payment and tax records as merchant of record. We cannot delete those from Paddle's books. Contact Paddle via your receipt if you have a question about their copy.
  • Support emails we must keep to show how a billing or legal request was handled.
  • Security logs that expire on their own schedule and are not used to rebuild your workspace.

4. Timing

We complete confirmed deletion requests within 30 days. We will email you when it is done, or tell you if a legal hold delays a specific record. Deletion is permanent. A new sign-in with the same email creates a new, empty account.
